<FONT color=black size=4>POLICE APPEAL TO IDENTIFY DEAD CYCLIST

<FONT color=black>Local police are trying to identify a man who collapsed and died while cycling near the Royal Military Canal in Hythe o­n Sunday (6 June).

<FONT color=black>The man is believed to have died of a heart attack.

<FONT color=black>He collapsed o­n the pathway after telling a passer-by he felt unwell.

<FONT color=black>Police have now issued an appeal for help. The man is described as white and aged 40 to 50,  with dark-grey receding hair and a black moustache, was 5 ft 10 in and heavily built.

<FONT color=black>He was wearing a grey T-shirt, white trainers and black cycling shorts, and he was riding a blue and white Scott USA mountain bike.

<FONT color=black>Anyone with information about the man should contact the local or Kent Police in Maidstone.
