Dungeness lifeboat rescues man adrift in English Channel aboard stricken yacht with no radio

On Tuesday 5 September at 11.02pm, the UK Coastguard called on Dungeness lifeboat to locate a lone yachtsman who had used his mobile phone to contact them saying his vessel had engine failure, he was lost and suffering from fatigue.

An extensive review of all KCC buildings which begun immediately after the Grenfell Towers tragedy on 13 June, has so far revealed no serious concerns about the cladding on any premises.
