Big thank you to Kent residents who are offering help to unaccompanied asylum seeking children

Kent County Council is thanking residents after it was inundated with offers of help and donations for the high numbers of unaccompanied asylum seeking children who arrived in the county during the summer months and continue to do so.

Nationalist counter demonstrators clashed with police at the service entrance to Eurotunnel in Folkestone this morning Saturday (1 August) as pro-migrant protesters rallied to support people trying to cross into England through the channel tunnel.
