The more well known Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway seems to get all the headlines in Gloucestershire, but heading towards the Welsh border and river Wye in the Forest of Dean is the Dean Forest Railway, another up and coming heritage line.

Sadly the Electric Railway Museum near to Coventry Airport has been given notice to leave its site by October 8th 2017.

The world's smallest public railway; the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway in Kent marked it's 90th birthday on Saturday 15th and Sunday 17th July with an anniversary weekend of specially headed trains and events.

 


Rail journeys delayed after train smashes into bicycle on tracks near Dover

Following an obstruction on the line between Folkestone Central and Dover Priory which cut services this afternoon, all lines have now reopened.
