<FONT color=black>An artwork exhibition produced by people with learning difficulties will be launched  on Saturday 3 July at the Sassoon Gallery, Folkestone Library with Conservative Party Leader Michael Howard and Kent County Council's Shepway Local Board Chairman Chris Capon.

<FONT color=black>The exhibition entitled Kentish Life has been put together by Canterbury Oast Trust - a charity which provides opportunities for people with learning difficulties. Artwork in the exhibition has been produced in art and craft workshops organised by the charity and features a range of media including textiles, collage, batik, paintings and sculpture. Mr Howard, who is the charity's patron, will make a short speech at the launch.

<FONT color=black>Kent County Council's Cabinet Member for Community Services Sarah Hohler said: "The Canterbury Oast Trust does lots of valuable charity work in Kent so I am delighted that this artwork will go on display at Folkestone Library. I would encourage everyone to come along to the library and visit the gallery to see this great exhibition."
