Emergency services: Helicopter called to rescue dog-walker stuck in coastal mud

Local Coastguards have issued a warning after an
RAF helicopter was called to rescue a woman stuck in mud off the coast of
Folkestone on Sunday (18 January).

Rescue teams were scrambled to help rescue the
45-year-old who had been walking her dog.



The woman who was in about 18 inches of mud was pulled free.



Coastguard Bob Giles warned people to take care when walking near areas
where boats are moored.
