Victim robbed by two men in violent attack near Ashford footbridge

Detectives in Ashford are appealing for information following a violent attack in which a man was reported to have been robbed by two other men.



... attackers who are described as Asian in appearance .....


The incident is alleged to have occurred about 1am on 30 May at Victoria Road, Ashford.

It is reported that the victim crossed the footbridge from Elwick Road to Victoria Road where it is said the attack took place and his mobile phone and keys were stolen.

The attackers who are described as Asian in appearance with one possibly wearing a white t-shirt, are said to have run away towards the town centre.

Detective Constable Geoffrey Kirya, who is investigating, said: ‘This was a violent attack and we are keen to speak to anybody who may have seen the robbery or the two men running away from the scene.’
