Man arrested on suspicion of causing GBH with intent following Herne Bay collision

Detectives investigating a road traffic collision in Margate Road, Herne Bay, on Wednesday 8 June have arrested a man.

 

 

A man in his 20s was airlifted to a London hospital .....

The 26-year-old, from the Herne Bay area, was arrested on Friday 10 June on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

He has been bailed while enquiries continue.

SERIOUS LEG INJURIES

A man in his 20s was airlifted to a London hospital with serious leg injuries following the collision, which happened just before 5pm.

Detectives have already spoken to a number of witnesses but anyone who saw the collision or who has information about the incident is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference ZY/18974/16.
