Following an obstruction on the line between Folkestone Central and Dover Priory which cut services this afternoon, all lines have now reopened.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

A train hit a bicycle which was on the line near Dover.

It caused the train to come to a stop and was unable continue.  Staff have cleared the bicycle, and the train has been able to move into the station and clear the line.

If you are using one of the following routes, your journey will be disrupted:

London to Dover Priory via Faversham
London to Dover Priory via Tonbridge
High Speed services from St Pancras to Dover Priory via Ramsgate or Ashford

Trains on these routes have been delayed up to 45 minutes, and may be altered or cancelled at short notice.

Passengers can now use trains again on routes through Dover, but should be prepared for delays.
