Sandgate Parish Council now has a defibrillator sited on the side of the Boat House Kiosk on the Esplanade.

The council has said the defibrillator is for use by all of the community and although its use is quite intuitive, it is thought helpful for training to be offered so that the equipment can be used, if needed, with confidence.

The defibrillator has easy to follow instructions provided when it is being operated.

A training session has been organised at the Parish Office/ Library on Thursday 27th July between 6.00pm and 8.00pm for businesses. This training will incorporate defibrillator training and other life saving techniques.

Please let the Clerks to Sandgate Parish Council know if you wish to attend.
