Crime: E-fit issued after report of assault on teenage girl in Ashford

Police investigating a report of an assault in Ashford have released a computer-generated image (above) of a man they would like to identify.



It was reported that the victim, a teenage girl, was sitting on a bench at around 6.30pm on 22 June 2017 near a footpath around Singleton Lake in Bucksford Lane, Ashford.

A man with a dog walked past the victim before approaching her from behind and grabbing her on the shoulder. The victim was able to pull away and leave the scene.

Nothing was said during the incident and the victim did not report any injuries.

The man was described as being Asian, with a skinny build and 5 ft 9 ins tall. He was aged between 27 to 35 years old and had black hair, a black beard and brown eyes.

He was wearing a red vest top and sandy-coloured shorts. His dog was described as a breed similar to a Husky and was being walked on a black lead.
