Crime: Teenagers arrested after multiple burglaries in Thanet

Kent Police officers investigating a number of burglaries in Thanet have arrested two teenagers.


A 17-year-old boy from Cliftonville was arrested on Thursday 27 July 2017 in connection with burglaries in Sewell Close in Birchington, Norfolk Road in Margate and Surrey Road and Harold Road in Cliftonville committed between Friday 21 July and Thursday 27 July 2017.

An 18-year-old man of no fixed address was also arrested on Thursday 27 July 2017 in connection with the burglary in Harold Road and Norfolk Road. He was also arrested for possession of class B drugs.

The 17-year-old boy was released on bail until Thursday 10 August 2017 and the 18-year-old man was released on bail until Friday 18 August 2017.

Enquiries are continuing.
