Officers investigating a fatal collision at Snave on Romney Marsh are appealing for information.

At 8.28am on Friday 6 July 2018 a blue Vauxhall Corsa was driving along the coastbound A2070 near Snave when it was involved in a collision with a silver Kia Sportage which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Corsa, a woman aged in her 70s from London, died at the scene.

The occupants of the Kia, a woman and a 10-year-old boy, both suffered serious injuries and were taken to a London hospital. Neither is believed to be in a life-threatening condition.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the incident and ask that anyone who saw the collision, or the vehicles travelling beforehand, call 01622 798538 quoting DS/MW/92/18.
