Dashcam evidence sought to Canterbury assault

Witnesses are being sought by Kent Police officers following an assault in Canterbury.





On Thursday 3 October 2019 at around 9.45pm a car was parked in Dickens Avenue when a Vauxhall Astra, believed to be black, pulled up alongside it.

A brief conversation took place between the occupants of both vehicles before one person, a man in his 20s, was assaulted. He suffered injuries to his back and leg and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Witnesses who have not yet come forward are urged to contact Kent Police. Anyone who saw what happened, has information or has available CCTV or dashcam footage in Dickens Avenue between 8.30pm and 10.30pm should call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/190517/19.
