Two men from Cheshire arrested after Ashford assault

Enquiries following an assault in Ashford have led to the arrest of two people.


 

It was reported that between 11pm and 11.30pm on Tuesday 27 August 2019, a man in his 20s was assaulted after speaking to two men in High Street, near to the junction with Wellesley Road. He sustained injuries and bruising as a result.

Yesterday, Sunday 6 October 2019, two men from Cheshire were arrested on behalf of Kent Police.

 

The pair, aged 31 and 27, were detained on suspicion of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent.

They have been released on police bail until 23 October 2019 pending further enquiries.
