Violent restaurant robbery by balaclava man near Maidstone

Investigators are appealing for information following a robbery at a restaurant in Leybourne near Maidstone.


 

At around 6.30am on Monday 7 October 2019, it is reported a man went into an office at the premises in Castle Way and stole a quantity of cash.

 

It is alleged he assaulted two members of staff before leaving the building.

The suspect is described as being 6ft tall and was wearing a full balaclava, a padded jacket and ski gloves. He was also carrying a bag.

An investigation is ongoing, including forensic checks at the crime scene and a review of any possible CCTV opportunities.
