Police report man attacked in Ramsgate daylight robbery

Kent Police is seeking information following a report a man was attacked and robbed in a Ramsgate graveyard in broad daylight.

The incident took place in the St Laurence graveyard, off Newington Road, at around 10.30am on Tuesday 3 December 2019.

The victim, a man in his 40s, is reported to have been punched and kicked by the suspect before his phone and house key were stolen.

The suspect is described as being white and around 6ft tall with a slim build. At the time he was wearing a grey baseball cap, a hooded jacket and tracksuit bottoms.

It is also reported he may have travelled to the scene in a black Audi Q7 which had damage along the driver’s side.

No arrests have been made and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
