Around half a kilo of cannabis was seized after a van was pulled over by Kent Police in Folkestone.
On Thursday 7 February 2019 at around midday officers from the Community Policing Team stopped the driver of a white van in Wear Bay Road.
Following a search of the van a large bag of cannabis bud, with an estimated street value of between £5,000 and £6,000, was discovered.
The driver, a 36-year-old man from Rhodes Minnis, was arrested on suspicion
of being concerned in the supply of cannabis.
Police also searched a property in Folkestone and found more cannabis along with a
large quantity of cash.
The man arrested has been released pending further investigation.
