Police are urging more witnesses to an indecent exposure in Ashford to get in touch with them after officers arrest a man.

It was reported that a man was seen exposing himself to other people in a park near Kimberley Way at around 2.20pm on Saturday 11 May 2019.

An 18-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on the same day, in connection with the incident.

He was also arrested in connection with reports of indecent exposures on 23 April in Riverbank Way and Fairview Drive, and on 14 April in Cuckoo Lane and two sexual assaults on 4 March.

The man was released on bail until 4 June pending further enquiries.

Investigating officer PC Steven Blackman said: ‘Thank you to those who have already contacted us with information and we continue to investigate all reports of suspicious behaviour, so if you believe you have seen something similar, report it on 101.

‘We understand there are other people who witnessed the incident on Saturday 11 May and have yet to speak to an officer, so we urge them to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/89620/19 as their information could help our enquiries.'

Alternatively, you can call the independent charity, Crimestopppers in Kent, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
