CCTV issued following Sandgate Road Folkestone robbery

As part of an investigation into a robbery in Folkestone, officers have released an image of a man they would like to identify, as he may have information which could help their enquiries.

A man in his 40s, who had taken a phone call outside in Sandgate Road near the junction with Rendezvous Street, was reportedly punched and had his phone stolen shortly afterwards as he entered the communal area of a residential property.

The victim reported he gave chase after the suspect who ran away from the scene but lost sight of him in the graveyard.

The victim sustained injuries during the robbery, which took place at around 11.50am on Thursday 7 May 2020.
