Images of women issued following bank card theft and fraud in Thanet

Police officers investigating a report of theft and fraudulent use of bank cards in Thanet have issued two CCTV images of women they would like to speak to as they may have information which could assist their enquiries.



The victim, a man in his 70s in Margate, reported that fraudulent transactions had been carried out with his bank cards at businesses in Thanet, several times between 1 March and 17 May 2018.

A 24-year-old woman from Broadstairs has been arrested on suspicion of theft in connection with the report and has been released on bail until 19 August.

Following a number of enquiries including a review of card usage and CCTV opportunities, officers are now able to issue images of two people they would like to identify.

Anyone with information regarding the two people pictured are asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/27483/18.
