Height vehicle brought in to fight derelict building fire off Radnor Park Road, Folkestone

Around 40 firefighters are tackling a blaze at a derelict building in the Radnor Park Road area of Folkestone, close to the Royal Victoria Hospital, this evening, 12 August.


Kent Fire and Rescue Service's Emergency Control Centre was alerted to the fire at 8.38pm and crews were quickly on the scene.

A command support unit and height vehicle are also in attendance.


Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus are using a main jet and hose reels to fight the fire and are carrying out a search of the property.

 

There are no reports of any casualties.
