Kent Police quick to arrest man after theft of caravan in Romney Marsh

A man has been arrested following the theft of a caravan in Romney Marsh on Wednesday 25 March 2020

Kent Police was called at 7am on Tuesday 24 March 2020 following an incident in St Mary's Bay, near Dymchurch.

The victim reported that a caravan had been unhooked from a vehicle and stolen during the night.


Later on the same day, Kent Police officers visited an address in Newington, near Sittingbourne and recovered the caravan.

A 37-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of theft. He was later bailed until Friday 17 April 2020.
