A cliff rescue between Folkestone and Dover was called off after firefighters established that a blazing car at Abbots Cliff had probably been set alight at the bottom of the cliff....more

Whilst I'm not terribly unhappy that the Lib-Dems have won the local election, I feel it only fair that they commence their term in office with a pledge to plant a tree (or seven) to make up for the extraordinary amount of mail-shots that came through my letterbox....more
